The International Committee invites prospective authors to submit abstracts of papers for presentation at the Forum.
As in previous years, the Forum topics and sessions will cover typical aspects of aeroelasticity and structural dynamics and will be held simultaneously in various conference rooms.

The website offers the possibility to directly upload the author’s contribution. The submitted abstract, written in English and containing a minimum of 350 and a maximum of 1000 words has to be a Portable Document File (pdf). Abstracts should briefly outline the main research question(s), research method, results and conclusions as well as their general significance. References might be added. The abstract must contain the full name (first name + last name, no titles), affiliation and address of corresponding author. In the case of joint authorships, the name of the corresponding author should be indicated with an asterisk. Papers can only be accepted on the understanding that they will be presented at the conference (poster or orally) and if at least one of the authors is registered.A template for the abstract is provided for your convenience. This template is already set with the correct page size, fonts, line spacing and margins. Please convert your abstract to a PDF file. Be sure to embed the fonts when creating the PDF.

All authors of accepted abstracts are kindly invited to upload a full paper for the proceedings of minimum 10 pages on the registration website before 16 May 2026. The mandatory template (in Word and LaTeX) can be found in the following.

Only the papers from authors who have registered and have paid their conference fee will be included in the proceedings. And: "No paper - no podium!"
The IFASD Technical Committee encourages students to participate in the IFASD and therefore presents the IFASD Student* best paper award. For the purposes of the prize “student” is defined as someone registered for a course of study or research leading to the award of a degree, at a recognised University or similar institution, on the date given for the IFASD abstract submission deadline (22nd December 2025).
Students who wish to be considered for the IFASD Student Written Paper Prize should:
