On behalf of the IFASD International Committee and the Local Organizing Committee, we would like to sincerely thank you for your participation in the 21st International Forum on Aeroelasticity and Structural Dynamics (IFASD 2026) in Goettingen.
It was a pleasure to welcome experts from industry, research organizations and universities from around the world for inspiring days of scientific exchange and valuable networking. Your contributions, presentations and active participation made IFASD 2026 a successful and memorable event.
Hosting IFASD in Goettingen for the first time was particularly meaningful. As the birthplace of many pioneering developments in aerodynamics and aeroelasticity, Goettingen has shaped our field for more than a century through the work of outstanding scientists. We hope that the unique scientific heritage of the city, combined with the lively discussions throughout the conference, provided both inspiration and a fitting setting for exchanging ideas on the future of aeroelasticity and structural dynamics.
We would like to remind all authors that updated versions of their papers may still be submitted until the end of 22 June 2026. If you would like to incorporate corrections or insights gained during the conference discussions, please upload the revised manuscript via the Paper Handling System. The newly uploaded file will automatically replace the previous version.
Conference photos are now available and can be viewed and downloaded via the following link IFASD 2026 Photos.
The success of IFASD has always been built on the commitment and expertise of its international community. We are grateful for your contributions and for the many discussions that advanced knowledge, fostered new collaborations and strengthened connections across academia, research institutions and industry.
Thank you once again for being part of IFASD 2026. We wish you a safe journey home and every success in your future research and professional activities. We look forward to meeting you again at future IFASD events.
Kind regards
Lorenz Tichy and the Forum Organising Committee
